Weather permitting we’re back in action tomorrow when we travel to Brixham. There will be a pitch inspection at 8.30 and we’ll update the socials as soon as we know the outcome.

Portishead will be on a high after last week’s emphatic 6-1 derby win over Bristol Manor Farm and will want to build on that victory with another important 3 points. Brixham are no strangers of late; posset played them three times last season, twice in the league and in the Les Phillips Cup final, plus the sides met earlier this season at Bristol Road.

Brixham have struggled since clinching promotion to the Southern League, with their play-off final victory over Clevedon Town last season. They currently sit 20th, in the relegation zone, and will be desperate for 3 points to close the gap on the teams above them. They suffered a heavy 7-3 defeat to promotion chasing Malvern Town last time out. Charlie Johansen is Brixham’s top scorer this season, with 12 goals.
